My Experience
-
I transitioned into the world of UX in 2022, and have been contracting as a Designer and Researcher ever since.
I’ve worked on a variety of products in different industries, but my passion is in Healthcare and Biotech.
My strengths come from the diversity of my experiences, and include - verbal and written communication, visual aesthetic, and finding the intersection of user and business requirements to create the best solution possible.
-
I have had two years of formal education in Nutrition Sciences and Dietetics
I’m inspired by a future where Healthcare is made accessible with user-friendly resources
My passion for Health and Wellness comes from my personal experience of accessibility to knowledge and resources giving me agency over my own health - and changing my life for the better.
-
I have 9 years of experience in Early Childhood Development and Education
Similar to design, I teach through storytelling, games, music, and experiences tailored to each student’s needs
Through my years as an educator and development specialist I have learned patience, creative problem solving on a dime, and collaboration with co-teachers and families in a creative and emotional space
As a Lead Teacher, I was responsible for the success of my students, and did so using formal evaluation tactics.
-
In 2017, I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Arts from Western Colorado University.
I have completed coursework in visual design, content design, and primary research methods
I have spent many years of my life broadening my perspective through travel, literature, media, and building an international network.
-
I have a natural inclination for creativity and have always loved making music, media, and art.
Physical activity has brought me joy and taught me the importance of discipline when meeting my goals.
In my free time, you’ll find me surfing, practicing martial arts and circus arts, cooking up some vegan food, and making music.
